dc.description.abstract	Este ensayo analiza la transformación del papel de la mujer en la guerra a partir de tres representaciones de la figura materna en las obras del gran dramaturgo B. Brecht. Primero, en 'La madre', en el contexto que generó la Revolución rusa. En segundo lugar, en la guerra civil española, desde 'Los fusiles de la señora Carrar'. Y en tercer lugar, en la Guerra de los Treinta Años en Centroeuropa, en 'Madre Coraje y sus hijos', texto de gran complejidad y diferentes caracteres femeninos en contrapunto. La antropología que resulta de tales contrastes muestra una fuerte oposición a las tesis principales de la representación de las mujeres según la afiliación aristotélica, éstas pueden ser activas, comunicativas, autónomas, comerciantes, partícipes en debates y convertirse en el centro de la familia y su sostén.	es_ES

dc.description.abstractenglish	This essay analyses the transformation of the role of women in war according to three representations of the figure of the mother. First, in the outset of the Russian Revolutíon (The Mother). Second, during the Spanish civil war (Senora Carrar's Rifles), and finally, in the context of the Thirty Years War in Europe in the seventeenth century (Mother Courage and her Children). Mother Courage and her Children shows more complexity due to the counterpoint between Kattrin, the main character, and Ivette, the prostitute. The resulting anthropology evidences strong antiaristotelian affiliation in the representation of women, who are the center of the family unit, and who are, among other things, active, negotiating, communicative, autonomous, and participate in debates.	es_ES
